PLACEMENT
Choose front center, the right side, or the back of the cap. Most logos go front center on the CP80, where the six-panel front gives you the most room.
BEFORE WE STITCH
Your file is checked by a human and you get a proof to approve. Nothing goes on a machine until you have signed off on it.
COSTS
Bolt Printing does not charge a setup fee. The price updates live as you configure your hats, so what you see is what you pay.
Not a catalog — three hats, each doing a different job. All three are embroidered, and all three carry the same no-setup-fee pricing.
Embroidered pricing for the trucker and the dad hat is calculated by quantity on each product page. The low “from” figure you may see on a product page is a blank sample price and does not include embroidery.
Bold logos and simple graphics embroider well. If a design is not recognizable from a few feet away, it may be trying to do too much.
A cap front is a small canvas, and the low-profile VC300A gives you less height than the structured CP80. Thin lines and tiny lettering are the most common reasons artwork needs adjustment.
Light thread reads well on dark hats and dark thread on light hats. With 23 CP80 colors and 33 on the VC300A, a strong logo can still disappear if thread and cap are too close in tone.
Structured six-panel caps like the CP80 and the VC400-WM have a seam through the center of the front panels. Artwork that depends on precise center spacing may need simplifying.
A lower price should not mean a lesser order. You get the same process either way: a person looks at your artwork, you approve a proof before anything is stitched, and there is no setup fee at the end of it. We would rather let a customer tell you how it turned out.
