Designing a 112 people actually wear
Embroidery is thread, not ink, and the front panel of a cap is small. A design that looks right on screen does not always translate. Four things decide whether your hats come out crisp.

Keep it simple
Bold logos, simple graphics, minimal text. If it is not recognizable from a few feet away, it is trying to do too much.

Design for the space
One logo, icon or short phrase per location. Thin lines and tiny lettering are the usual reason a hat order disappoints.

Contrast your thread
Light thread reads well on dark caps, dark thread on light caps. A good logo still vanishes if the thread matches the hat.

Mind the center seam
A structured cap has a seam through the middle of the front panels. Artwork that depends on precise center spacing is worth simplifying.
