What You’ll Need

A white cotton T-shirt (your custom logo shirt works great!) NOTE: One color solid designs work best!

Tie-dye kit (or dyes in your favorite colors)

Rubber bands

Gloves
-
Plastic bags

Water

A protected surface (plastic tablecloth, baking tray, or tarp)
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Soak the Shirt
Get your shirt completely wet, then wring it out so it’s damp—not dripping.
2. Twist or Fold
Lay the shirt flat. Pinch the middle and twist it into a spiral, or scrunch it up randomly—there’s no wrong way. Secure it with rubber bands to hold the shape.
3. Apply Dye
Put on gloves. Use the dye bottles to squirt colors onto different sections of the shirt. Flip it over and do the back, too. Don’t be afraid to mix and match!
4. Let It Sit
Place the dyed shirt in a plastic bag and let it sit for 6–8 hours (or overnight) so the colors set properly.
5. Rinse and Wash
Rinse the shirt in cold water until the water runs clear. Then wash it separately in warm water and let it dry.
And that’s it! Your custom shirt now features your logo and your personal flair.
